Delete your Payya account

You can delete your Payya account, made by Helio Labs, at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

From the app

1. Open Payya and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Delete Account.
3. Confirm. Your account and synced data are deleted right away.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email contact@payya.app from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Payya account deletion request”. If you used Sign in with Apple and chose to hide your email, tell us the relay address shown in your Apple ID settings. We may reply to confirm the request comes from you, then delete the account within 30 days and let you know when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account: email address, name and sign-in details.
• All subscriptions you added.
• All payment methods you described.
• Your app preferences.

What is kept, and for how long

• Database backups: your data may remain in our encrypted backups for up to 7 days after deletion, then is removed automatically.
• Anonymous usage events, which are not linked to your name or email, are kept for up to 90 days.
• Feedback you sent from the app is kept for up to 12 months. Ask in your request if you want it removed sooner.

In guest mode nothing is stored on our servers: deleting the app removes your data from your device.
